Holly Farm, a working farm run by Mervyn and Ruth Jones, dates back to Tudor times. It has been sympathetically modernised to offer luxury 4 star accommodation with a warm and friendly Welsh welcome.
Situated just 2½ miles from the Wye Valley walk at Newbridge on Wye, Holly Farm offers an ideal location for exploring the Mid Wales countryside. It enjoys unrivalled views over fields and woods abundant with wildlife, lovely walks and relaxing gardens, and safe parking. The Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells is close by and offers golf, tennis, bowls, pony trekking and fishing amongst its amenities. The farm is also ideally placed for outings to the lakes of the Elan Valley and the beautifully scenic Abergwesyn Nature Reserve and Llyn Brianne, nestling deep in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains.
Guests have a choice three en suite rooms, with beverage trays and colour TVs. There is a comfortable lounge in which to relax, with traditional furnishings and a fine stone fireplace. Or alternatively, sit in the walled conservatory and enjoy the peaceful gardens. The spacious dining room has separate tables where guests can enjoy traditional farmhouse cooking using home produced lamb and fresh garden vegetables.
